WHAT IS THE GLEN ROCK COMMUNITY SCHOOL
We are a community oriented organization offering educational, recreational and cultural activities for children, adults and senior citizens from Glen Rock and surrounding communities. We are always expanding our course and trip offerings in order to enrich lifelong learning. We look forward to seeing you at a class or on a trip.
OUR PROGRAMS
Preschool
Our preschool program has classes for ages 18 months to 5 years old. Half day and full day programs are housed in Glen Rock elementary schools and led by certified teachers for the community school.
Before and After Care
Each Glen Rock elementary school has a before and after care program run by the community school. Each program is led by experienced and nurturing caregivers. Homework, activities and outside time are a few of the activities Kindergarten - 5th graders are involved in.
Summer Camp
Twenty-six camps are held on site at Glen Rock schools during the summer, including 12 sports camps, 12 specialty camps, and two traditional day camps (Busy Bee and Play Camp). Ages 3 - 15 may sign up for each 1-2 week camp session.
After School Enrichment
Classes are offered in a variety of topics, including: makerspace, cooking, languages, sewing and more. Classes vary per season.
Adult Classes & Trips
Adult classes (from technology to art and everything in between) and trips (Broadway, tri-state area and abroad) are offered each season. Study a language, learn a skill, grow a craft, and cultivate a hobby.
